Jennifer Higdon: Choral Works

Fall 2006 - Jennifer Higdon was selected for inclusion in a new publication by the National Endowment for the Arts featuring American choral composers and sample listings of their works. In his introduction of this new resource, NEA Chairman Dana Gioia stated "The NEA's American Masterpieces: Choral Music initiative is designed to celebrate our national music heritage by highlighting significant American choral composers and their works of the past 250 years. It is part of the larger National Endowment for the Arts program [entitled] American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius."
